We value diverse perspectives and backgrounds. We challenge each other to think in new ways and understand viewpoints other than our own. We embrace a human-centered and empathetic approach that is inclusive and holistic. We dream big, and create space for ideation and research. We collaborate and push each other to develop inspiring, innovative, and beautiful design solutions. We are here to learn, grow, be our best selves, and make meaningful work.

Our reward is when our LinkedIn member, customer or employee feels a positive impact in their life, that makes them more productive and successful. We help people achieve their aspirations. That’s why we love what we do.

We contribute to a playful, inspiring and empowering culture

  1. All hands gathering

    All Hands

We get together quarterly for a UED all hands, to learn about updates to our business and product strategy, be inspired by each others’ work, and mix and mingle as a unified team. We make time to connect with each other through interactive activities like Family Feud style trivia game. With themes like transformation and collaboration, we bring in speakers and host fireside chats to inspire and broaden our perspectives.

  2. I’m a rockstar!

    Rockstars Awards

To show a peer (or a cross-functional partner) that we recognize their rockstar qualities, we award them flash-mob-style with a tiny desk guitar. This peer-to-peer award can be seen across desks and is a symbol of kicking ass. Our rockstars are highlighted each All Hands.

  3. PechaKucha

    PechaKuchas

We like to get to know our new team members through PechaKuchas (Japanese: ペチャクチャ, IPA: [petɕa ku͍̥tɕa], chit-chat; meaning: a presentation style in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each).  During one of our Show & Tells, the newbie will share a story that gives us insight into a piece of who they are. We’ve learned about adventures across the world, obsessions with you-name-it, and stories of honeymoons gone wrong. It’s one of our staples and favorite parts of the week!

  4. Design presenters

    Design Critiques

We gather weekly for Show & Tells and Deep Dives, giving our designers and researchers insight into work going on across the organization. Designers get peer-to-peer feedback in a constructive environment where we are open to challenging each other. Our team leverages smaller reviews with cross-team leadership to get essential green lights to move projects forward. Our reviews are a collaborative way we stay in-the-know, help one another with our work, provide a space for creativity and celebrate our wins.
